Who does not dream of going once a part of Route 66. If you look at it is even close to this
legendary circuit, which is inevitable when one of Las Vegas and Los Angeles / San Diego is
traveling towards the Grand Canyon, you should at least have a quick look and leave for a
short stretch of the Interstate A taste for historical air. One place where this is particularly
worthwhile is Hackberry. Rather, the Hackberry General Store. A real find, this is now among the
experts on the southwest Do Ascended gem. Contrary to the General Store, although this terminology
is also a business, but primarily one of the finest - if not the best - Museum on the historic Route 66
What at first glance looks like an old gas station and can easily be overlooked, therefore,
is transformed, the closer you get, a real jewel, a conglomeration of all the only memories of
the good old days. Even when one ascends to the large parking area in front of the store one
countless antiques, collector's items and rarities from the 1950s and 1960s are particularly
striking.
The catcher is simply a bright red Chevrolet Corvette from the year 1956, which is issued the
day before the entrance of the museum under the protective canopy. It belongs to the owners,
John and Kerry Pritchard, who traveled in 1998 with the Corvette Route 66 along the old General
Store saw him spontaneously bought.
